Basic Info
Name:Benjen Stark
Bio

Name: Benjen Stark

Age: 16

Grade: 11

Hobbies: Well... I wouldn't necessarily call it a hobby - more of my one true love, you know? - but journalism. I love watching, I love writing, I love reporting. Love it all. But there's also band. I play the clarinet, and I guess I do a decent enough job; I'd like to try out for section leader, I guess we'll see. Um, drama. I do a little bit of acting. I'm no great shakes at it, but it's fun, and I can always help out backstage, too. I'm also a major fan of video games, particularly Frogger. I don't know why, it's kind of a stupid game, but it makes my life a better place.

Romantic Interest: Wait, what... who put you up to this?

Favorite Class: I'd like to take a journalism class. Otherwise, probably history or English, depending on the material we're given.

Favorite Movies: The Godfather, without a doubt. Oh, and Boondock Saints. If it's got mobsters, count me in. No Country for Old Men; even if the book IS better, this one at least comes close. Monty Python and Mel Brooks are always good for a laugh, and I'm really a fan of the old Godzilla movies.

Favorite Music: A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and The Stones, of course. Radiohead, Muse, OK Go. Um... The Kinks, right. I mean, it kind of depends on my mood. Sometimes (okay, a lot of times) there's nothing better than a little bit of Ella Fitzgerald. Or Bessie Smith, though I just started listening to her. There's always stuff like Gershwin, when I'm not looking for vocals (the opening of "Rhapsody in Blue," please, yes). And showtunes can be fun, especially if we're talking Guys and Dolls.

Favorite Books: A Farewell to Arms. Hemingway's kind of a douche, but I like his style. Cormac McCarthy's, too; I don't know whether you can get much better than No Country for Old Men. I also really liked Dante's Divine Comedy. Inferno in particular, of course, though I think if I were just a little swifter, I'd appreciate the others more, or something.

Goals: I hate looking at it like that. I mean, it sounds like I ought to know exactly what I'm going to do, and I really don't. I know what I want to do, sure. Sort of. I want to be a reporter, get a job working for a big-name newspaper or a magazine, a journal of some sort. Maybe land a gig that would let me travel all over the world investigating; I'd like that.

This is a fictional journal, used for crack!verse RP, yep. No profit, not my original character, and so on. See A Song of Ice and Fire, thanks. Oh, also? I'm not Keith friggin' Moon. Pretty obviously. So yeah.
